The client is a large state college in Upstate New York that recently experienced a retirement among its senior staff. They were in need of immediate interim assistance so that they would be able to keep up with their financial reporting and other significant processes and procedures until a replacement was identified.
ProNexus was engaged by the client to provide interim assistance in financial reporting and other processes and procedures. ProNexus was able to assign a consultant with significant industry experience. The consultant was able to step right in, debrief the retiring staff member and pick up the operation of many tasks. This included working directly with the CFO and Vice President of Finance to meet the organization’s needs. The consultant took responsibility for preparing the organization for its annual audit as well as reviewing internal processes and procedures. Additionally, ProNexus prepared financial statements, performed general ledger maintenance (including reconciliations and journal entry review), assisted with the payroll project to co-source to ADP and supervised the staff.
