Business Situation

The client had experienced some business challenges, but is now a profitable business on the upswing of a turnaround. As a result of the turnaround, senior leadership had decided to change the culture and redesign and improve the accounting department, including reporting. In addition, the client wanted to leverage technology and optimize their SAP Business One software to meet their objectives. The client recognized that it could take 3-6 months to replace leadership within the Finance & Accounting (F&A) function.

ProNexus Solution

The client engaged ProNexus to provide Interim Management services to handle all the day-to-day responsibilities and maintain productivity for the F&A function. Such requirements included managing an accounting staff (including an A/R & A/P clerk), managing the accumulation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results, coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements, providing management with information vital to the decision-making process, evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed. ProNexus assigned a consultant with specific project, industry, and SAP experience. The client has expressed gratitude for our ability to add value on day 1 of the engagement.
