The client is an independent leader of diagnostics in Rochester, NY serving the global clinical laboratory and immunohematology communities. The company’s products and services enable healthcare professionals to make better-informed treatment decisions in more than 120 countries. Recently, the company’s Financial Analyst gave notice and the client needed to quickly fill the gap in order to meet key finance deadlines and deliverables while they began investigating current staffing needs for the Finance team.
ProNexus was engaged by the client to rapidly learn the role of a Financial Analyst II that gave notice and to document and improve financial policies, processes and procedures, specifically for US Inventory. ProNexus assigned a consultant with a wide array of financial operations experience to shadow the Financial Analyst that was exiting and to take immediate ownership of undocumented duties. In addition, ProNexus reviewed shared file documents, minimal current documentation and documented up to date procedures. Given the expected back fill that would come about as a result of the Financial Analyst II leaving, ProNexus provided policies and procedures for US Inventory from point of hire to month end and quarter end close.
