Business Situation:

The client is a large nonprofit agency whose headquarters is locally based. Their mission is building courage, confidence, and character in the demographic they serve.  The organization covers 26 counties with staff and volunteers ready to work with their member organization. The senior accountant was going to be out of the office on a leave for over four weeks. In order to meet the daily requirements of recording bank transactions, cash deposits and related accounting functions, the client requested an experienced accountant to assume her duties.

ProNexus Solution:

ProNexus was engaged by the client to learn the daily banking processes over several days prior to the senior accountant’s leave.  ProNexus assigned an experienced consultant with the appropriate skill-set to assume all duties. ProNexus reviewed the current documented accounting procedures and recommended necessary changes.  Having a consultant on hand was critical to support the client’s largest annual fund raising activity, and to ensure a proper collection of funds through an ACH banking transaction.
