Productivity Maintained While Transitioning New Hire
Requirement: Interim Management Services - Accounting Manager
The client had recently lost their Accounting Manager, leaving a gap in leadership. They were in need of Interim Management services to help maintain productivity until a permanent replacement could be identified.
ProNexus was engaged by the client to provide Interim Management services, assigning a consultant with accounting industry experience as the interim Accounting Manager. ProNexus was responsible for facilitating the Month End Close of the books, which included journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, bank reconciliations and the preparation of the monthly Financial Reporting and Analysis. ProNexus also prepared weekly documents for the bank line of credit.
After the client identified a permanent replacement for the Accounting Manager role, ProNexus stayed onsite through the next month end cycle to train and transition the new hire accordingly. This involved learning the client’s procedures and allowing the new hire time to work with others in the accounting department to learn each person’s function on the team.
