The client, a local medium-sized equipment manufacturer that specializes in medical devices, was in the midst of a separation from their parent company when they suddenly lost their Accounts Payable Manager. The client was in need of an interim solution until they could find a full-time AP Manager to fill the role.
ProNexus was engaged by the client to lead the AP team through implementation and testing of a new enterprise reporting tool (SAP) during the creation of a Finance Shared Service Center. During the testing, emphasis was on ensuring that adequate internal controls were in place within the AP functions and system. Once the testing was complete, we assisted the client in creating and implementing a cutover plan to ensure that all critical AP and Purchasing business activities were operational.
