Client Moves Location Due To Merger & ProNexus Assists With The Transition
Requirement: Loan Staff Augmentation - Financial Analyst
The client is a large defense company that specializes in communication products, systems and services. The client was in the process of moving part of their finance department from Fort Wayne, Indiana to Rochester, NY. In doing so, they were losing staff to other opportunities in the Fort Wayne area.
ProNexus was engaged by the client to maintain productivity until the department officially moved to Rochester. ProNexus assigned two consultants to support the program finance department in the closeout and final billing process for government contracts. Due to the transition from Indiana to New York, many of the original people that wrote the contracts, managed the projects, and did the preliminary billings were no longer available. ProNexus had to analyze, reconcile and reconstruct all previous financial information in order to create final invoices. Once the final billing was completed and approved, ProNexus completed all final contract closeout documents to finalize the contract closing.
