The client is a Local County Government that implemented an operational system 5 years ago that they have not been satisfied with. They have determined that it is best to implement a new system and would like to start the process of a software selection that could cover Finance, Payroll and Timekeeping. It is pertinent that the selected software captures the requirements of the organization as well as provide them with the right output that will enhance the County’s ability to make sound decisions.
ProNexus was engaged by the client to develop the project scope and selection process plan going forward – the first of three proposed phases. The subsequent phases proposed are the selection and implementation. ProNexus conducted on-site interviews with the key management and IT stakeholders to fully understand project drivers, strategic goals, constraints, risks and scope. ProNexus delivered a scope document and phase 2 plans which defined the recommended process for the software selection phase. Phase 3 was the implementation phase, where ProNexus will continue to Project Manage the implementation so that the County can ensure a smooth transition and success with their new system.
