Business Situation:
The client is a local not-for-profit agency that specializes in housing for the disabled and aging population. The organization has grown rapidly and is in need of further bandwidth for its IT function. After undergoing a recent assessment it was recommended to add additional staff as the current IT function was extremely overworked. The client organization was also in the process of opening two facilities that needed further attention from an IT perspective so they began investigating their options in order to meet upcoming deadlines.
ProNexus Solution:
ProNexus was engaged by the client to provide Interim CIO and Loan Staff Services. To start, ProNexus assigned three consultants to fill the roles of CIO, Project Manager and System Administrator. ProNexus worked with the current IT team to further understand the strengths, weaknesses, and staffing levels within the IT function. A plan was then put into place to address any weakness and to reduce the overall hours worked by the current staff. Additional ProNexus staff was brought in to round out the Service Desk function and address some urgent application needs to meet compliance deadlines. The current focus is finding qualified staff to fill the needed roles while utilizing the ProNexus team to maintain productivity.
