Project Accounting Services Helps Client Relocate Out Of State

Business Situation:

The client is a mid-size, first-class, high-quality athletic facility with studios located in 12 states. The client had recently started the process of relocating its Human Resource and Accounting departments from Florida to New York City. The expectation was that the current Human Resource and Accounting staff in Florida would not move to the new location in New York. Therefore, the client was in need of a full-time Controller, as well as additional staff, for their New York City location.

ProNexus Solution:

ProNexus was engaged by the client to provide project accounting services that involved learning and documenting the current accounting processes in Florida. Once that was accomplished, ProNexus trained the newly hired staff in New York City. In addition, ProNexus was engaged to backfill any needed position during the transition as well as assist with special projects. These special projects included NetSuite ERP initiatives, assisting with the integration of eShares cap table management software, management and execution of the collection of Tenant Improvement Allowances (TIA’s) related to real estate leases, and completing the implementation of outsourcing business licenses with a 3rd party firm.
